Ketchum backs literary programme
Ketchum: Room to Read campaign
Kate Magee 12-Sep-08
Ketchum is to provide pro bono support to global literary charity Room to Read, as part of its CSR programme.
The charity aims to give underprivileged children the chance for a better life through education.
Room to Read focuses on poor, rural areas, establishing libraries with multi-lingual books, publishing new children's books in local languages, creating computer labs and providing long-term scholarships to girls.
Globally, some 115 million children of primary school age are not enrolled in school - about a third of them in rural areas.
