Google gaffe forces launch
Google suffered a PR setback last week when it was forced to launch its new web browser earlier than intended.
Google Chrome is the company's first internet browser and was designed to make surfing the web faster and simpler.
It was due to launch on 3 September but the launch was pushed forward to 2 September after a 'comic book' describing the product was sent out to bloggers by mistake.
Anthony House, a PR manager on Google's UK team, said: 'We thought our computer scientists could do the product launch work on Tuesday, so we could commence on Wednesday. But the comic book was mistakenly sent to bloggers early.'
