New identity

The design of the UK's controversial identity cards was revealed by the Home Secretary last week.

 

The Home Office issued pictures of a sample card on behalf of executive agency the Identity and Passport Service. A spokesman said that PR would be used as a 'cost-effective' means of raising awareness of the cards.
