FD to advise Kuwait bank
Kuwait's biggest investment bank has turned to FD for comms support as it focuses on growth in Europe and North America.
Global Investment House has brought in the agency to provide retained global financial comms consultancy on both sides of the Atlantic - another illustration of the growing impact of Middle Eastern institutions in global finance.
Additionally, the bank's private equity fund, Global MENA Financial Assets, will use FD for financial and corporate PR in Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Both accounts will be led by FD's financial services team in London, made up of Ed Gascoigne-Pees, Laila Danesh, Nick Henderson, Caroline Parker and Josh Saul.
Global Investment House is one of the top banking firms in the GCC and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with offices in 16 MENA countries and listings on the Kuwait, Bahrain and Dubai stock exchanges.
Global MENA Financial Assets recently raised £252m as part of its IPO and listing on the London Stock Exchange in July 2008.
