Middle Eastern bank brings in FD
Alec Mattinson 26-Sep-08
FD has won an account with Kuwait's biggest investment bank and its London-listed private equity fund.
Global Investment House and Global MENA Financial Assets have brought in the agency to provide retained global financial communications consultancy.
Both accounts will be led by FD's financial services team in London of Ed Gascoigne-Pees, Laila Danesh, Nick Henderson, Caroline Parker and Josh Saul.
Global Investment House is one of the premier asset management and investment banking companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and wider Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. It has offices in 16 MENA countries and listings on the Kuwait, Bahrain and Dubai stock exchanges.
FD will provide the bank with financial and corporate PR in Europe and North America.
Global MENA Financial Assets, the institution's private equity fund, has brought in FD for financial and corporate PR in both Europe and the GCC. The fund primarily invests in financial services companies in the MENA region and raised £252m as part of its IPO and listing on the London Stock Exchange in July 2008.
