Luxury train hires first PR support
Luxury train: to start promotion
Matt Cartmell 06-Oct-08
A luxury new 'hotel train' called The Danube Express has appointed PR support to promote trips to destinations such Transylvania and Kracow.
Oxfordshire-based PR consultancy Julia Spence handled PR around the inaugural journey from Berlin to Budapest at the end of last month.
The agency invited 14 top travel writers along for the ride, including The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Mail.
Spence has been hired to set up more press trips on the Danube Express over the coming year. Destinations include Dresden, Kracow, Transylvania and the Tatra Mountains.
The Danube Express was developed by Hertfordshire-based rail-entrepreneur Howard Trinder and co-director Peter Hedderely.
