Octopus wins massive Cisco brief
Cisco: router
Matt Cartmell 14-Jul-08
Hardware giant Cisco has hired Windsor-based Octopus Communications to handle comms in UK and Ireland.
Octopus is believed to have pitched against Hill & Knowlton and Hotwire.
As reported in PRWeek, the business was up for grabs after incumbent agency Brands2Life resigned the account.
The brief, which includes media relations, is thought to be worth about £250,000 annually.
Brands2Life did not repitch, but took over Cisco's European work from Harvard PR at the start of the financial year.
