Staffordshire PRO to join RNLI
Staffordshire County Council is set to lose a communications and marketing officer to the Royal Navy Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
Tim Ash will leave on 2 January after three years as comms officer for Staffordshire’s Children and Lifelong Learning Directorate.
The council is seeking a replacement for Ash and the deadline for applications is 23 November. The job includes raising the profile of all services for young people.
Ash will take up the role of divisional media relations manager at the RNLI, with responsibility for promoting fundraising in the South East of England. He will also handle press and PR for lifeboat activity at stations from Margate to the Isle of Wight.
