Brighter Group fills MD position
Travel specialist The Brighter Group has hired former Fleishman-Hillard board director Matt Fearnley as MD.
The hire will see current MD Steve Dunne taking a back seat from the day-to-day running of the 18-strong business, with the title non-executive director.
Dunne, who has been MD for five years, still owns 25 per cent of the business. He said the move would enable him to focus on ‘high-level strategic PR and planning' and PR training at the consultancy.
Fearnley reports to Brighter founder and CEO Debbie Flynn. He has had held several posts in the past few years. His most recent role was a six-month project at Liverpool-headquartered Mason Media.
Prior to that, he spent just over a year as creative and new business director at Bell Pottinger.
